Watch The Let's Talk HOPE January 2019 Recap

We are looking for progressive-thinking people and businesses to get involved with our transformative work in one of the most critical needs of families and youth today; Mental Health. Our Let’s Talk… Hope, Mental Health Conference will take place on Bell Let’s talk day Wednesday January 29th at Coast Edmonton Plaza Hotel by APA. We can’t do this without the help of people like you.

There has been a significant increase in mental health issues over the past 10 years. Currently, one student out of every five struggles with anxiety. Unfortunately, many don’t have the skills to know how to overcome anxiety, thus they resort to addiction or other destructive behaviours. This also means that one in every five families are struggling to know how to help their child find hope amidst the current struggle.

Working with us along with Bell Let’s Talk can increase your reach, raise your profile, and show compassion and support for your community.

We hope you are able to contribute to enriching the lives of others with a sponsorship donation of either the full amount of $5000 towards the conference or a smaller increment of $1000.

What the day looks like:

From 9:00 am-3:00 pm, mental health front-line workers, non profit sector leaders, teachers and some students will join together to be inspired by keynote speakers, workshops, and an incubator where the best of our city in mental health will dive into the core issues they are facing and SOLUTIONS!

Why we do what we do:

Our National Hope Talks team have been working with youth for over 20 years. During this time they have seen countless youth struggle with issues such as anxiety, self-harm and suicide. The directors have also seen their own children struggle with this battle, and can offer real, actionable tools to schools, students, and parents, and offer real hope to overcome their challenges.

WHY ATTEND?

Mental health front-line workers, non profit sector leaders, teachers and some students will join together to be inspired by keynote speakers, workshops, and an incubator where the best of our city in mental health will dive into the core issues they are facing and SOLUTIONS!
