Do you remember some of the conversations we were having before the COVID 19 pandemic?
One topic that was and still very much on the forefront of conversations today, is Mental Health. While we are talking about it more, there is still more that we can do.
January 2020 on the Bell Let’s Talk day, The HOPE Movement
held a HOPE conference in 3 cities. One of which I had the privilege of hosting right here in Edmonton.
And today I wanted to feature one of the speakers from that day, my dear friend and mentor Pastor Bob Jones.
Bob has some inspiring yet challenging words of wisdom regarding what he believes it will take to bridge the gap between the mental health and faith community. I was drawn back to this message today, because I believe Bob’s message of HOPE will help us during and after this COVID season.
Bob states, “It’s not that churches aren’t well intentioned, it’s just they’re not well-informed.”
