GROW Through What you GO THROUGH!

For the last 2 years I’ve been doing a Segment Called Contagious Courage, where I have interviewed amazing people with incredible stories of courage…

And now I have branched out with another segment called –  BUT WAIT THERE’S MORE!

You see there’s a game that we’ve had for quite some time now call – But Wait There’s More. In the game, you are dealt 3 cards, and you have to choose which card you will use to create a commercial.

And each player is given 30 seconds to give their best sales pitch to convince the other players to choose YOUR product! But mid-way through your “pitch” someone interrupts you and says – STOP! BUT WAIT! THERE’S MORE! and hands you a random card with new information. You then have to scramble, and figure out how to incorporate this new information into your already planned pitch. I couldn’t help but see the parallels in my own life, and it gave me the idea for this new segment!

You start off having a plan, maybe you get to a place in your life where you’ve just learnt to cope with the things “life” has dealt you, but then out of the blue life hands you – BUT WAIT! THERE’S MORE!

You see I know I’m not the only one who’s gotten angry or frustrated at God. Many times I’ve yelled at Him saying, “God! Don’t you care about me?” or “I’m done!” but He would always say, “Vahen, Stop! BUT WAIT! THERE’S MORE.”

I have learnt, that if you are never tested you will never know what you’re capable of, and if you don’t learn to trust God, you can never know what He’s capable of.

I invite you to join me in an adventure to discover God’s intended “MORE” for YOU!

God is able to do exceedingly abundantly above ALL we could ask or think.

EPHESIANS 3:20

Through raw vulnerability and storytelling, I will challenge you to believe with me when God says…

BUT WAIT! THERE’S MORE!

And today in my FIRST segment, I want to talk to you about, GROW THROUGH! WHAT YOU GO THROUGH!

World Changer in Solitude

There always seem to be too few ‘world changers’ out there. The fields are ripe so why are there so few harvesters? The answer is simple. The major battlefield for those who are potential harvesters is in controlling their time. There are many harvesters who are not nearly as effective as they could be. Their natural inclination, and even the expectations of those who send them, is to be involved with people and activities. They thrive on it. But to be effective they need to say ‘no’ to the horizontal dimension and spend copious amounts of time in the vertical relationship with their Father. They need to practice solitude.
