BEFORE YOU CONTINUE READING TODAY, CAN YOU ANSWER THIS QUESTION HONESTLY?
DO YOU TRUST GOD?
We might be to quick to respond yes. But let’s look deeper at any areas you have that might be causing you frustration, fear or anxiety, and answer that same question.
But I know for me, when I get overwhelmed or am struggling to let go of fear or control of a situation, I have to go back to God and ask….
“God, where have I lost trust in you? Show me my heart, help me see where I’ve taken things into my own hands because of my lack of trust in you.”
Maybe you trust God as your Savior, you may even call him friend, but maybe you don’t trust him as your provider or protector.
The enemy is always looking for ways to get in our head and cause us to lose trust in God. Making you believe that because God didn’t give you X, or he didn’t remove Y, then he must not care about you.
If that were the case, then Jesus himself could have concluded the same when God chose not answer His desperate prayer to REMOVE the suffering of the cross.
Jesus fell on His face, and prayed, “O My Father, if it is possible, let this cup of suffering pass from Me; nevertheless, not my will, but Yours.”
Matthew 26:39
WHY WAS JESUS ABLE TO SUFFER THE CROSS?
Why do you think Jesus was able to suffer the cross? Why do you think He was able to say, “NOT MY WILL BUT YOURS?”
BECAUSE HE TRUSTED HIS FATHER!

HOW CAN I TRUST GOD MORE WITH MY SUFFERING?
IS THERE AN AREA THAT YOU HAVE LOST TRUST IN GOD TODAY?
HAVE YOU CONCLUDED THAT GOD DOESN’T LOVE YOU OR NOT LOVING BECAUSE OF THE THINGS YOUR SUFFERING?
Whatever your relationship with God is like, I pray that you spend time with Him today, talking with him and allow his love to meet you where you are, so you can receive and fully understand the power of the cross, and learn to trust God for everything you need today.
