In today’s post, I have a special guest, Danielle Macaulay. And I’d like to tell you a little bit about her book: Why Can’t We All Just Get Along?

What I Learned
Here are some take away’s from my time with Danielle today that I KNOW will help you and challenge you to find unity in your relationships!
- Stop the comparison
- Find a mentor and someone who’s willing to walk with you
- Do the RIGHT THINGS until you have the RIGHT FEELINGS
- Do what you know IS RIGHT and the feeling WILL follow
- Gratitude is a RIGHT thing
- Focus on YOUR blessings NOT others
- Be content
- Turn your envy into inspiration – GET TO KNOW THE person or try to understand them before being envious
- Close your computer and open your Bible
- Admire someone’s beauty, talent, gifting or calling without questioning your own
The overarching message that I found was that you need to focus on doing the right things and zero in on your own blessings that God has given you. When you start shifting your focus this way, you’ll find yourself living a life of less envy and more gratefulness.
