We know that depression and mental illness is no respecter of persons, and today you will hear from woman who went from having it all, to losing it all and spending 20 years battling depression and mental illness.
Welcome my dear friend Cheryl Edwards to this segment of CONTAGIOUS COURAGE.
Cheryl acknowledges that because of her own journey with depression and mental illness, she can boldly declare…
“There IS HOPE on the other side of mental illness.”
Cheryl’s mandate now is to help others who are struggling with mental illness find freedom and healing as she has.
I have chosen the song “Break Every Chain” by Tasha Cobbs because here is another woman who’s battled much of the same journey as Cheryl.
And let me tell you, when you get set free from a chain that holds you captive especially that of depression and mental illness, you will understand the passion that these two women share.
“In my distress I prayed to the Lord, and He answered me and SET ME FREE.” Pslam 118:5
